The Salish is suitable for beginner paddlers due to its high initial stability and exceptionally excellent length to width ratio.

Unsinkable even when full, thanks to the bulkhead in the stern and the buoyancy body in the bow.
Thanks to the long cockpit, the rear seat can be moved forward, so the Salish can also be used as a single kayak.
